Morning Worship Service
ACTS of RENEWAL creates and presents funny, powerful, highly identifiable vignettes that prepare hearts to better hear the principles of your sermon. For morning worship, Carol and Jim will select one of their original theatre pieces to illustrate the theme of the sermon. They'll bring to life a Scripture principle or Bible story with insight, sensitivity, humor and truth. The professional quality of their ministry captivates an intergenerational audience and provides an excellent springboard for having a sermon really connect.

Easter - Holy Week
Jim and Carol bring a spectrum of theatre pieces that address the events of Holy Week. Their theatre brings a fresh moving perspective to the events and our response to those events. Simple good theatre, done well connects to the heart in ways that the big pageant sometimes misses.

Jim and Carol bring to life the journey of Holy Week with theatre and readings that are powerful, moving and thought provoking. A waitress in an all night diner the night Jesus is arrested,  two military angels watching the crucifixion from heaven ready to rescue Jesus from the cross if he only says the word are but two vignettes from this powerful evening of theatre.  Simple good theatre, done well connects to the heart.

Performance Options:  The following are different ways churches have utilized Acts of Renewal during Holy Week:

• A 60 or 90 minute presentation of powerful theatre as part of one of your Holy Week events.
• A Choir Concert - with your choirs that has theatre pieces with Acts of Renewal between music presentations
• Palm Sunday -  Jim and Carol work with your readers to present a powerful reading of the Passion as well as theatre to highlight the events of that day.
• A Weekend Event - where Acts of Renewal works with your lay people and provides special  theatre, readings and more bringing the events of Holy Week alive as part of the services.
