Ananias, the man who healed Saul’s eyesight, recounts his story of reluctant obedience in this amplification based on the events of Acts 9:10-19.
Ananias tells of the damage caused by this persecutor of Christians from imprisonment to killing of innocent people. One day while in his olive grove he sees Saul ride by, a proud defiant man a top a fine steed. But a little while later, he sees Saul returning, being led, bent over, sobbing and blind.
God asks Ananias to go find him and heal his sight. Astounded and angry at this request, Ananias never the less obeys and is rewarded with an amazing transformation of his own heart as he watches his hands become instruments of healing for Saul’s eyes.
