Risking in Grace
$

Ann recounts to her son a most amazing visit she has just had with a young woman who was dying after a bone marrow transplant didn't take. What is amazing is that it was her first experience as a Stephan's minister at which she had felt pretty inept. As they said in the training, "If you risk and are available, God's grace fills in the gap."

A Saducee Receptionist
$
15.00
This piece is based on the smoke screen questions the saducees often asked Jesus to distance themselves from his truth. An insurance company receptionist is getting the scoop on her co-worker's recent blind date. When she finds out it was with a Christian and that her friend finds what he told her about Christ making sense, the receptionist feels compelled to tell her why she should "stay away from this Jesus stuff with a ten foot pole". The piece is both funny and painful, and addresses some real reasons why people today sit on the fence about faith and being fully committed to Christ. There was great response to this piece, when performed in a recent church service. Many people told the minister that they related and it brought out in the open some of their questions.
