Ananias

Ananias, the man who healed Paul's eyesight, recounts his story of reluctant obedience. In this fictionalized amplification, Ananias tells how his two nephews were killed at the hands of Saul. He has vowed to avenge their untimely deaths. Then one day while in his olive grove outside Damascus, he sees Saul ride by, a proud defiant man atop a fine steed. But a little while later, he sees Saul returning, bent over and sobbing and blind. Confused, Ananias returns to Damascus to warn the church of Saul's presence. While there, God asks Ananias to go find Saul and heal his sight. Astounded and angry at God's request, Ananias begrudgingly obeys and is rewarded with an amazing transformation in his own heart as he watches his hands become instruments of healing for Saul's eyes.

Joseph in Jail

After finding out she was with child, he had ridden to Elizabeth's to inform Mary that it was all over. But she had seemed so beautiful and so convinced of her crazy story about bearing the son of God, he hadn't had the heart to go through with the break up. On his way back though, he had made up his mind to turn his horse around and tell her, but instead he soon fell into a deep sleep where he dreamed of an angel who told him that Mary would indeed bear a son who would save the world from its sins. And when he had awakened that morning, he too knew it was true.
